I agree with you Helene on all your points. I was hoping they would turn around and buy out Kemper and upgrade that position. But they have so many holes now and I don’t trust Blake after 7 years to fix it. It’s also time to admit that Kopitar has the offensive numbers of a 2nd line center on most contenders and he doesn’t have the foot speed to defend against the top centers in the league.
Kopitar was 5th in Selke voting so I guess he can still defend and his numbers were on par with the centers on the 4 teams in the conference finals, other than McDavid of course.
